Today I went to Target and picked up three titles for my 360 that I wanted to play before the holiday engulfs us all in awesome new games. Kind of like a "last chance" to play some games that will be obsolete in a matter of months. I picked up Fight Night Round 3, Call of Duty 3 and Saints Row.
I've currently played only one of them, and that's Fight Night, a boxing game by EA Sports. This game is crazy fun, and unlike my initial beliefs, I'm actually pretty good. After only an hour of playing I'm capable of knocking someone out in the first round. So yeah, lots of fun to be had. I like the smooth and easy-to-get-used-to controls. The punching is alot like Skate, where you perform tricks by moving the right stick up and down in measured angles. I also like how the achievements are simple, few and have high point-value.
Tomorrow I'll be playing the other two, and have no idea on what I'll think of them, although I have a feeling that I'm going to like Saints Row. It looks alot like GTA...
